Review by hotel critic
Our room was surprisingly dark, making it tough to relax with a good book, and I missed having a private balcony to take in the surroundings. On the upside, the breakfast was good, featuring lots of local dishes that really set a great tone for the day. The so-called half-board option ended up being a bit misleading, as we were left to navigate a pricey menu that added up quickly. Janika Pension had its charm, but I'm uncertain about a return visit.
